AI Content Discovery is intentionally read-only. It helps agents discover public content and representations without turning the discovery layer into an administrative API.

Does the plugin use OpenAI, Gemini or another AI API?No. It uses WordPress and the site's public resources to publish and verify discovery information.

Can an AI agent edit my WordPress content?The discovery contract is read-only. It does not provide post, edit or delete permissions.

What is ai-content-discovery.json?It is the primary machine-readable discovery contract describing site identity, content information and available public representations.

Why is there also a WordPress REST endpoint?The standalone contract is easy to discover directly, while the REST route makes the same registry available through WordPress's native REST infrastructure.

Does this guarantee AI discovery, indexing or citations?No. It provides machine-readable discovery information and verification; it does not guarantee crawling, indexing, search visibility, citations or traffic.
